Edith Pons (Mexico City, 1978) is a multidisciplinary artist specialized in painting, graduated from the National School of Painting, Sculpture and Engraving ENPEG La Esmeralda, in 2025 she studied the Master's Degree in Sacred Art at the Pontifical University of Mexico and has exhibited nationally and internationally since 1999.

 

Pons has also expanded her creative experience to other areas such as: gallery and museum assistant, in art production for cinema and commercials, graphic and web design, advertising and fashion design. She has been a cultural promoter,  devising and directing projects from the Cultural Commission of the Archdiocese of Mexico as Director of the PARADISO Project in Mexico City with contemporary art projects such as: Tierra de Esperanza by Yoko Ono, Empatía by Barbara Kruger, in 2016; and Ser Humano/Ser Urbano, with the work of Tracey Emin and Keith Harring, in 2017.

In 2024, she returns to dedicate herself completely to her own artistic production by exploring the return of art to beauty and its transcendental meaning; combining his passion for painting, portraiture and faith, with realistic touches in a figurative proposal with classical influences.

 

Edith Pons has presented her line of work in sacred art under the pseudonym of FABRICA SACRA since 2012.
